And it could not be hosted by any other city than Zl\u00edn. It was here that the very first, then still sledge domestic hockey matches, were played.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Czech national team took fourth place at the domestic championships. The winners of the 2005 European Championships in sledge hockey in Zl\u00edn were the team from Germany. The Swedes took the silver medal, bronze went to Estonia. The teams of England and Italy finished behind the Czech national team.<\/p>\n\n<p>Already during the next European sledge hockey Championships, the Czech national team celebrated its first great success!
