Ostrava will be celebrating another beginning of the new hockey season – 2023/24 with an extraordinary parahockey event. The third year of the annual International Para Hockey Cup will be held in the Ostravar Arena from the 2nd to the 8th of October 2023! The current top three teams – the USA, Canada, and the Czech Republic, will test their strength on the ice for the first time since the World Parahockey Championships, where the Czechs won their historic bronze medals. They will be joined again by the world’s selection of parahockey players in a blended team – the IPH team. Tickets are on sale now!
The world’s best parahockey returns to Ostravar Arena, where the USA team is definitely dominating. It was indeed in Ostrava, where the Americans even began their winning streak. They collect gold at the World Championships and the Paralympics and they always like to come back to Ostrava. Even this year at IPH Cup 2023 the Canadians, for whom the battle with the Americans is always the most prestigious matter, will once again show the USA team a tough time on the ice. The Czech para-hockey team also made it to the top teams of the world and it happened even at the last World Championships in Canada that the Czechs took the bronze and announced only one thing “We want to go higher, we want to play amongst the greatest.” Thus, the International Para Hockey Cup already promises exciting battles! And another team that will definitely want to join and show their all, is the specially composed IPH team, which offers European parahockey players the opportunity to play alongside the best!
